Aleksa Batak

Aleksa Batak is a Serbian setter selected for the senior national team's European Championship squad.

A setter connects reception with every attacking option, so Batak begins reading a rally before the ball reaches his hands. He checks the quality of the first contact, follows the opposing middle blockers and moves into position early. From there, he must choose a pass that gives the attacker enough time and space. Accuracy is important, but disguise and stable footwork also prevent the opposing block from predicting Serbia's next move.
