Partizan will face Getafe without Ognjen Ugresic in the return match of the Conference League play-off. Coach Sasa Ilic confirmed that the midfielder has signed for PAOK and will not be selected.
Partizan trails 3-1 after the first leg in Spain. The return match in Belgrade is sold out, and the Serbian club needs to recover a two-goal deficit.
Ilic discussed only the match during his press conference
Partizan has faced major internal pressure, including announced resignations. Ilic declined to discuss his own future before the European match and said those questions could wait for another press conference. Ilic kept his comments on the European match. He said questions about his position would be discussed at another press conference.
Ilic also noted that Partizan existed before his time and will continue after it. The statement placed the institution above one coach while avoiding a detailed announcement before the game.
Ugresic leaves after completing his transfer to PAOK
Ugresic will not receive a final appearance before moving to Greece. Ilic said the transfer will help Partizan function and wished the midfielder success in his next club. The absence removes one central midfield option. Partizan will use players who remain in the registered match squad.
The transfer was completed before the return match. Ugresic is therefore not part of Partizan's squad for the game in Belgrade.
Getafe holds a two-goal lead before the second match
Milan Vukotic expects the Spanish side to use a compact defensive block.
Getafe starts the second match with a 3-1 advantage from Spain. Ilic said he expects a brave Partizan performance. He also described Getafe as an aggressive and competitive team that punishes small mistakes.

Partizan needs two goals to level the aggregate score. A two-goal Partizan win after 90 minutes would send the tie to extra time. A Getafe goal would increase the number required by the home side.

The Ugresic transfer leaves Partizan with fewer midfield options
Ugresic completed his transfer before the return match and is not available to Ilic. The coach will select his midfield from the remaining registered players. Partizan also starts the match with a two-goal deficit after the 3-1 defeat in Spain. Ilic confirmed both facts at the press conference.
