Mladost Lucani beat Partizan 3-1 in the sixth round of the Serbian SuperLiga. Vasil Tasovski, Mihajlo Todosijevic and Nikola Cirkovic scored for the home team. Dembe Sek scored Partizan's late goal.

Mladost scored twice in the first half

Tasovski opened the scoring in the 12th minute. The early goal allowed Mladost to defend with a clear plan instead of chasing the match. Todosijevic added the second goal in the 36th minute. Partizan had time to respond before the break but could not reduce the gap.

Mladost kept the lines close together. When Partizan moved the ball wide, the nearest midfielder helped the full-back and stopped an easy pass toward the centre.

Cirkovic ended Partizan's best period

Partizan tried to increase the pressure after halftime. The visitors moved more players near the penalty area and looked for an early goal. Mladost remained dangerous when it regained the ball. Cirkovic scored in the 69th minute and made the score 3-0.

That goal changed the final stage. Partizan needed three goals only to draw, while Mladost could protect space and avoid unnecessary attacks.

Scorer Team Minute
Vasil Tasovski Mladost Lucani 12
Mihajlo Todosijevic Mladost Lucani 36
Nikola Cirkovic Mladost Lucani 69
Dembe Sek Partizan 83

Sek scored Partizan's only goal

Dembe Sek scored in the 83rd minute. The goal gave Partizan a small reward for its late pressure but arrived too late to create a full comeback. Mladost kept the remaining minutes under control and completed its first win over Partizan in five years and twelve meetings.

The home team had started the season with four draws and then won two matches in a row.

The new result moved Mladost to fourth place.

Three goals gave Mladost an important home victory.

Partizan has four points after another difficult round. The team now needs a clear response before its European second match against Getafe. The review should begin with the first half. Conceding twice forced Partizan to take greater risks after the break and left more space for Mladost's counterattacks.

Mladost can carry a simpler lesson forward. Compact defending and direct support for the first attack gave the team control of the match.

Mladost used the lead instead of only defending it

The first goal gave Mladost a useful position, but the team did not spend the rest of the half inside its own penalty area. The second goal arrived because players still supported the attack. Partizan needed more movement around the player with the ball. A slow attack allowed Mladost to place its midfield behind the ball and remove the route through the centre.

Cirkovic's goal rewarded the home team's readiness to move forward after a recovery. It also gave the defenders room to handle Partizan's late pressure without panic. Mladost now has two wins after four opening draws. The change does not require a completely new style. The team has simply turned more balanced performances into decisive moments near goal.

The next round will test Mladost away from home

Mladost will visit IMT after two consecutive wins. The team will have less support from the crowd and may receive more responsibility for controlling the ball.

The same compact shape can still work. The players must choose when to press instead of following every pass and leaving the centre open.

The three Mladost scorers attacked different moments

Tasovski changed the match early, Todosijevic increased the lead before the break and Cirkovic stopped Partizan's second-half pressure. The goals were spread across the match instead of arriving during one short collapse. That timing made the home team harder to unsettle. Each time Partizan tried to change the pace, Mladost found another useful action.

The result was decided by stronger finishing from the home team.

Sek's late goal stopped Mladost from finishing without conceding, but it did not remove the home team's control of the main phases. Mladost had already built enough protection through three goals.

Mladost answered every change in Partizan's pressure

The home team scored in different parts of the match. An early goal changed Partizan's plan, and the second increased the pressure before the break. The third stopped the visitors from building a second-half comeback.

Mladost also protected the centre when Partizan held more of the ball. The players did not follow every wide pass. They stayed close enough to block the next pass into the penalty area and then looked for a direct route forward.

Partizan's late goal changed the final score but not the main story. Mladost had already built a three-goal advantage through separate attacks and managed the remaining minutes without allowing another clear chance.
