Slobodan Medojević returns to Vojvodina as a coach

Slobodan Medojević has returned to Vojvodina in a new role. The former captain joined head coach Marko Savić's staff and began the next stage of his football career.

He admitted that the transition was not an easy decision. Ending one professional identity and beginning another requires a different routine and responsibility. His playing career provides experience for the coaching role

Medojević developed at Vojvodina before establishing himself in the senior team. He later played abroad and returned to Novi Sad for a second spell. Coaching adds work that was less visible during his playing career. Session planning, individual feedback and preparation now become part of his daily tasks. He wore the captain's armband and represented the team in difficult periods. That experience gives him a detailed understanding of internal expectations. Playing records do not guarantee coaching results. They do give Medojević specific examples when he discusses preparation, pressure and responsibility with the squad.

His first months combine staff study with daily coaching duties

A new assistant learns how the head coach plans each week. Training intensity, video work and recovery all follow the schedule around the next match. Medojević also learns how information is recorded and shared. A short observation becomes useful only when it reaches players in a clear form.
