France announce 2026 World Cup squad: Mbappe, Dembele and Kante included in Deschamps’ 26-man list

France head coach Didier Deschamps has announced the final squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will take place in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The 26-man squad includes several of France’s biggest stars, with Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele, N’Golo Kante, Mike Maignan, William Saliba, Aurelien Tchouameni and Adrien Rabiot all named in the team.
France will head into the tournament as one of the main contenders for the trophy. The national team will be making its 17th appearance at the World Cup and its eighth consecutive participation since 1998.
For Deschamps, this will be his fourth World Cup as France head coach. He previously led Les Bleus at the 2014, 2018 and 2022 tournaments.
